System of security measures in homes for the elderly in emergency situations

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá zkoumáním implementace bezpečnostních opatření v domovech pro seniory v nouzovém stavu. Cílem prvního bodu práce je podat ucelené informace o stavu sociální péče v České republice. Pro naplnění tohoto cíle byla provedená metoda literární rešerše. V dané problematice byla analyzována a popsána charakteristika seniora, definice sociální péče a domovů pro seniory. Klíčovým prvkem práce jsou legislativní normy problematiky sociální péče, prolínající se celou prací. Pro zodpovězení výzkumných otázek a dosažení cíle práce bylo použito dotazníkové šetření. Praktická část práce se věnuje samotnému vyhodnocení provedeného šetření, které reflektuje situaci v době pandemie a nouzového stavu, v domovech pro seniory. Dotazníkové šetření je provedeno v oblasti celé České republiky, 14 krajů, v rozsahu 488 respondentů. Byly osloveny tři kategorie respondentů potřebných k zodpovězení naplnění daného cíle. V závěru, práce shrnuje dosažené výsledky, kterými lze konstatovat, že implementace bezpečnostních opatření v domovech pro seniory v nouzovém stavu byla efektivní s malými problémy. Navrhovaná řešení tedy reagují na komplikace zjištěné při zavádění bezpečnostních opatření.

Abstract:

This thesis examines the implementation of security measures in homes for the elderly in a state of emergency. The aim of the first point of the thesis is to provide comprehensive information on the state of social care in the Czech Republic. In order to fulfill this objective, a literature search method was conducted. The characteristics of the elderly, the definition of social care and homes for the elderly were analyzed and described in the given issue. The key element of the work is the legislative norms of social care issues, which are interwoven throughout the work. A questionnaire survey was used to verify the research questions and achieve the aim of the thesis. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to the actual evaluation of the conducted survey, which reflects the situation in the time of pandemic and emergency, in homes for the elderly. The questionnaire survey is carried out in the whole Czech Republic, 14 regions, with 488 respondents. Three categories of respondents were contacted to answer the objective. In conclusion, the paper summarizes the results obtained, by which it can be concluded that the implementation of security measures in homes for the elderly in emergency condition was effective with few problems. Thus, the proposed solutions address the complications found in the implementation of security measures.
