Long-Term Tangible Assets and their Accounting (Including IFRS/IAS) and Tax Aspects

Abstract:

V této práci je zachycena problematika účtování v dnešním evropském prostoru, pro který je charakteristická snaha o sjednocení účetních direktiv. Jedná se o složitý proces provázený celou řadou problémů, které vyplývají z různosti jednotlivých ekonomik států. Abychom byli schopni úspěšně implementovat evropské standardy, musíme postupně přizpůsobovat naše směrnice a zároveň být i schopni aktivně evropské směrnice přijímat. Každý stát má svůj specifický účetní systém, a proto musíme postupovat velmi obezřetně. V této práci jsou zachyceny základní rozdíly mezi českými účetními standardy a mezinárodními účetními standardy na konkrétních příkladech. Je zde využita metoda analýza-komparace-syntéza, která objasňuje, zda-li jsou jednotlivé změny prospěšné. V syntéze se pokouším o vyhodnocení obou účetních systémů. Zvyšující se technický vývoj klade velký důraz i na kvalitní finanční software. V současné době se setkáváme s vyspělými softwary, které jsou schopny pojmout obrovské množství informací, což v nedávné době bylo nemyslitelné. Problematika účetního softwaru je zde také rozebrána, a to jak z hlediska potřeb velkých společností, tak i ve specifických českých podmínkách.

Abstract:

This thesis informs about problems of accounting in the present European space, for which it is characteristic the unification of accounting directives. It is a very complicated process, which has a lot of problems following from the variability of the economies of states. To be able to implementate successfully the international accounting standards we have to adapt our directives and at the same time we have to be able to accept International accounting standards. All states have their own specific accounting systems and therefore we have to proceed very carefully. This thesis contains basic differences between the International accounting standards and the Czech accounting standards in the concrete examples. It is used a method of an analysis-comparison-synthesis, which shows, if the particular changes are useful. I try to evaluate both accounting systems in this synthesis. Accelerated development accents a quality financial system. Currently we meet advanced software, which is able to work with a lot of data which used to be impossible recently. The issues of accounting software is discussed here in detail both from the point of view of needs of big companies and from the point of view of specific Czech conditions.
