Physiotherapy and physical activity during pregnancy

Abstract:

Cíl: Přispět k řešení problematiky volby vhodných fyzioterapeutických metod a pohybových aktivit u těhotné pacientky. Seznámit veřejnost s teoretickými a praktickými poznatky této problematiky. Metodika: Odebrání anamnézy a provedení kineziologického rozboru včetně aspekce, palpace, antropometrie a speciálních testů se zaměřením na oblast pánve a hluboký stabilizační systém. Následně odstranění či zmírnění nalezených patologií pomocí manuálních technik a vybraných konceptů. Výsledky: Na začátku terapie jsem zjistila u těhotné pacientky vadné držení těla, hlavně v jeho horní polovině, nesprávný dechový stereotyp a narušené funkce hlubokého stabilizačního systému. Během cílené intervence bylo dosaženo u pacientky částečné zlepšení držení těla, díky kterému došlo k ústupu migrén. Dále jsme se intenzivně věnovaly nácviku dýchání a správného zapojení hlubokého stabilizačního systému. Po ukončení terapie se zdravotní stav pacientky zlepšil. Závěr: Svou fyzioterapeutickou intervenci považuji za správně zvolenou. Hlavní nalezené obtíže byly ve značné míře odstraněny a došlo ke zlepšení zdravotního stavu pacientky

Abstract:

Goal: To contribute to problematics of chosing proper physiotherapetuic methods and physical activities in pregnant patient. To acquaint the public with theoretical and practical knowledge of this issue. Methods: To take an anamnesis and to realize a kinesiology analysis by observation, palpation, antropometry and testing focused on region of pelvis and core. After that to remove or to reduce pathologies found using manual techniques. Results: At the beginning of the treatment I found poor state of patient's posture, mostly in it's upper half, incorrect stereotype of breathing and improper function of the core. During targeted intervention with the patient, partial improvement of her posture was reached, which led to relievement of patient's migrenes. We also devoted to breathing exercises intensively and proper connection of the core. After ending of the therapy, the state of health got better considerably. Conclusion: I consider my physiotherapy intervention to be chosen properly. The main patologies were removed to a large extent and the state of health of the patient was improved.
