Práca sa zaoberá výberom najvhodnejšieho jazyka na tvorbu webových portálov. Porovnáva základné parametre jazykov určujúce jeho kvalitu a použiteľnosť. Práca sa ďalej zameriava na výber najvhodnejšieho frameworku, vývojového prostredia a aplikačného servera. Druhá časť práce sa zaoberá implementáciou systému pre správu časopisu.
