Bakalářská práce se zabývá možností překročení biologické hranice při snahách o prodloužení lidského života. Dotýká se nejen problémů, kterým čelí vědci snažící se vyvinout technologie, které by toto překročení umožnily, ale i problémů čistě filozofických, přičemž se soustředí na otázky kolem definice člověka a na problémy týkající se osobní identity. The bachelor thesis deals with the possibility of transcending the biological limit when trying to extend the life of a human being.
