Gender Discrimination in the Automotive Sector

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou genderové diskriminace na českém trhu práce se zaměřením na oblast automotive. Cílem bakalářské práce je pomocí teoretické rešerše a analýzy získaných dat stanovit, zda se na českém trhu práce skutečně vyskytuje genderová diskriminace. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní pojmy, které slouží k lepšímu pochopení zmiňované problematiky. Praktická část obsahuje analýzu získaných dat týkající se genderové problematiky a vyhodnocení získaných dat z vlastního dotazníkového šetření. Na závěr jsou zde uvedena hlavní zjištění této práce a představena možná doporučení, která by mohla dopomoci ke snížení genderové diskriminace na trhu práce.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of gender discrimination in the Czech labour market with a focus on the automotive sector. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to determine whether gender discrimination actually occurs on the Czech labour market by means of theoretical research and data analysis. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts that serve to better understand the issue. The practical part contains an analysis of the data obtained on gender issues and an evaluation of the data obtained from the questionnaire survey. Finally, the main findings of this work are presented and possible recommendations are presented that could help to reduce gender discrimination in the labour market.
