Cílem práce je představení života a díla Františka Herolda (1889–1971), významné osobnosti první poloviny 20. století v oblasti českého bankovnictví a působení České obce Sokolské, a od čtyřicátých let 20. století českého vynálezce hudebních nástrojů a hudebního teoretika. Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to introduce life and work of František Herold (1889–1971), an important personality of the first half of 20th century in the field of Czech banking and operation of Czech Sokol Union, and from the 1940s an inventor of musical instruments and a musical theorist.
