Abstract:
The dissertation thesis focuses on the discursive analysis of the European Union's external migration policy. It relies on the approach of Michel Foucault's governmentality and applies analytical tools in the form of rationalities, technologies and subjectivity of governance in order to situate migration policy in a broader historical, social and political context.
