Comparison of the calculation of net wages for employees in the Czech republic and Germany

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na porovnání rozdílu mezi výpočtem čisté mzdy zaměstnanců v ČR a ve Spolkové republice Německo. Výsledky výpočtů jsou dále porovnávány mezi sebou a sleduje se výše zatížení výdělku zaměstnanců i náklad zaměstnavatelů. Teoretická část práce popisuje náležitosti mzdy, platnou legislativu, o kterou se výpočet mzdy v roce 2019 opírá, mzdové systémy a zaúčtování mezd v podvojném účetnictví. Teorie poukazuje na rozdílnost výpočtu mzdy v ČR i v SRN a je obohacena o poznámky z praxe. Vlastní práce se zabývá samotnými výpočty mzdy u zaměstnanců s nízkým, průměrným a vysokým příjmem. Dále jsou u těchto zaměstnanců provedeny výpočty pro případy krátkodobé nepřítomnosti na pracovišti v důsledku nemoci a porovnán je i výpočet peněžité pomoci v mateřství a odvod exekuce. Součástí práce jsou řízené rozhovory se mzdovými účetními z ČR i ze SRN, které popsaly, jak tento komplexní systém funguje v praxi. Výstupem diplomové práce je výše uvedená komparace výpočtu čistých mezd v daných zemích a zatížení příjmu zaměstnanců a odvody zaměstnavatelů.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on the comparison of the differences between the calculation process of net wages for employees in the Czech Republic and Germany. The results of the calculations are afterwards compared between each other and there is observed the among of the strain of the outlay of the employees and even the financial burden of the employers. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the requirements of the salary, the valid legislation (on which is the net wage calculation process in 2019 based), salary systems and entering the salaries into accounts in double-entry bookkeeping. The theory shows the differences between the calculation processes of net wages in the Czech Republic and in Germany and is enriched with the notes from the practice experience. The thesis deals with the calculations of the net wage of the employees with low, average and high income. There are also made calculations of the cases of short absences at work in the consequences of illness with these employees. There is also compared the calculation of the maternity leave pay and the contributions of the distraint. The part of the thesis is directed conversations with the payroll accountants from the Czech Republic and from Germany, who described how all the complex system works in the practice. The aim of the diploma thesis is the mentioned above comparison of the calculation process of net wages in given countries and the strain of the contributions of the employees and the employers.
