Goals and Aspirations in Work Manager

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis treats with “Goals and aspirations of manager’s work”. The aim of the thesis is to analyze abilities and goals of managers in the company and describe development of abilities of managers, leading to higher performance of workers.This Bachelor thesis treats with “Goals and aspirations of manager’s work”. The aim of the thesis is to analyze abilities and goals of managers in the company and describe development of abilities of managers, leading to higher performance of workers.The thesis is divided into two chapters – theoretical and empirical chapter. The content of theoretical chapter is definitions of the term manager and afterwards meeting with goals, aspiration values, psychology of manager and manager’s operation. The second chapter concerns goals of the bachelor thesis together with research questions and methods, which are mentioned in a questionnaire. There are analyzed dominant behavior of managers, aspirations of respondents, incentive factors and styles of manager’s operations. Conclusion sets attention on suggestion and recommendations for improvement of manager’s work.

Abstract:

V bakalárskej práci sa venujeme téme „Ciele a ašpirácie v práci manažéra“. Cieľom práce je analyzovať manažérske zručnosti a ciele v spoločnosti a popísať rozvíjanie manažérskych zručností, ktoré vedú k zvyšovaniu výkonov pracovníkov.Práca je rozdelená na dve časti – teoretickú a empirickú časť. Obsahom teoretickej časti sú definície pojmu manažér a následne zoznamovanie s cieľmi, ašpiračnými hodnotami, psychológiou manažéra a manažérskym riadením. V praktickej časti uvádzame cieľ bakalárskej práce spolu s výskumnými otázkami a metódami, ktoré sme uviedli v dotazníku. Analyzujeme, aké sú prevládajúce vlastnosti manažérov, ašpirácie respondentov, motivačné faktory a štýly riadenia manažéra. V závere sme upriamili pozornosť na návrhy a odporúčania na zlepšenie práce manažéra.
