The diploma thesis deals with EU Directive 2019/1937 on Whistleblowing from the perspective of the European Union’s competence for its adoption. The thesis aim is to assess whether there are provisions in the Union’s primary treaties that would empower the Union to adopt legislation with such a purpose and effect.
