Abstract:
The aim of my Bachelor diploma thesis is to provide analysis and comparison of three significant literary characters, Frederick Douglass, Booker T. Washington and Mr. Ryder. The focus of the thesis is put on their identity development and transformation during slavery and after its abolishment.
