Teamwork and its usage in Prague Social Security Administration

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá týmovou prací a jejím užitím v organizaci Pražská správa sociálního zabezpečení. Teoreticko – metodologická část se nejprve věnuje organizaci, jejím oddělením a týmům. Upřesňuji zde vznik týmů, jejich budování, následné udržovaní, správný výběr a charakteristiku vedoucího pracovníka. Dále jsou vyjmenovány způsoby komunikace, druhy motivace a jakým způsobem jednotlivé druhy motivace působí na zaměstnance. V aplikační části jsou uvedeny základní informace o České správě sociálního zabezpečení a také Pražské správě sociálního zabezpečení, která je jí přímo podřízená. Zkoumám zde, jak je v této organizaci aplikována týmová práce. Tuto práci zaměřím na určitý tým v PSSZ. Na tomto týmu ukazuji, jak každý den využívá týmové práce. Cíle práce jsou zodpovězeny pomocí dotazníku, rozhovoru se zaměstnanci a bývalým ředitelem PSSZ. Na závěr této práce si dovoluji doporučit určité postupy na vylepšení chodu PSSZ.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with a question of teamwork and its usage within Prague Social Security Administration. The theoretical part devotes attention to organisation, it´s departments and teams. It is pointed out to building teams, their construction and subsequently to maintainance, proper selection and characteristics of the manager. Furthermore the means of communication, types of motivation and the way how each type effects on employees are mentioned. The practical part provides basic facts about the Czech Social Security Administration and the Prague Social Security Administration (PSSA), which is directly subordinated to it. The application of team work is explored. It is focused on a certain team in the PSSA and shown how the team work is daily in use. The aims of the thesis are answered in a form of questionnaire and interviews with staff and former director of the PSSA. At the conclusion a few procedures for improving the operation of the PSSA are recommended.
