This work is applied overview of studies on the Czech environment with empirical parts – a textual analysis of documents (the contents of periodicals). Bachelor thesis presents the social aspects of childbirth. It is focus on the analysis of birth as a social process in which there is a reproduction of the gender structure and its dual symbolism.
