Characterisation of plasmids transferring antibiotic resistance and virulence factors in Salmonella enterica serovars
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá plazmidy nesoucími geny rezistence a virulence u medicínsky významných zástupců bakterie Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na kmen Salmonella Typhimurium F98 a jeho schopnost adheze a invaze do epiteliálních buněk v závislosti na přítomnosti varianty plazmidu p9134.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with plasmids carrying resistance and virulence genes in medically important representatives of Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica. The practical part of the thesis is focused on Salmonella Typhimurium F98 strain and its ability of adhesion and invasion to the epithelial cells in dependence on the presence of some variant of p9134 plasmid.
