Wood as the most original construction material of the Museum of the Southeast Moravian Village objects and its protection

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem mé práce je dřevo jako materiál konstrukcí lidových staveb, materiál hodný pozornosti nejen z hlediska možné původnosti a historické hodnoty z toho vyplývající, ale i skutečnosti, že vzhledem k ostatním materiálům tvořícím zmíněné konstrukce je nejvýrazněji ohrožen degradací v důsledku působení atmosférických a biologických faktorů. Na pozadí konkrétního muzea v přírodě, Muzea vesnice jihovýchodní Moravy ve Strážnici, se snažím upozornit na výskyt dřevěných konstrukcí a prvků původních či soudobého materiálu doplňků a kopií, na příčiny jejich poškozování a možnosti preventivní a sanační ochrany proti zmíněným degradačním faktorům. Řešení této problematiky se snažím doprovodit nejen praktickými příklady poškození konkrétních prvků a konstrukcí a návrhy řešení této situace, ale i zhodnocením celkového stavu dřevěných konstrukcí a prvků ve zvolené lokalitě.

Abstract:

The main topic of my work is wood as a material of folklore buildings constructions , which is notable not only because of its possible originality and the following historical value, but also because of the fact that with regards to the other materials used in the above mentioned constructions wood is most of all threatened with degradation caused by atmospherical and biological factors . In the background of a particular open-air museum - The Museum of the Southeast Moravan Village in Strážnice – I try to point out occurences of wooden constructions and elements made of originál materials and their supplements and copies made of recent materials, and its causation of damage, preventive and rescue protection possibilities against the above mentioned degradation factors . I even try to illustrate the problem solution not only with practical examples of particular elements and constructions damages and this situation solution suggestions, but also with classification of wooden constructions and elements conditions in the chosen locality .
