Explanatory ability of the financial statements of small companies

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou účetní závěrky malých účetní jednotek v českém podnikatelském prostředí. Cílem práce je analyzovat účetní závěrku a její vypovídací schopnost vyplývající z platných právních předpisů. Následně je práce zaměřena na hlídání možností zvýšení vypovídací schopnosti účetní závěrky pro malé podniky. Teoretická část udává přehledné informace o současných povinnostech a nárocích kladených na obsah a rozsah účetní závěrky a popisuje faktory ovlivňující vypovídací schopnost výkazů. V praktické části je zkoumána zvolená problematika na příkladu reálně existujícího podniku.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the financial statements of small entities in the Czech business environment. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the financial statements and their explanatory ability in terms of the valid legal regulations. Subsequently, the work is focused on monitoring the possibilities of increasing the explanatory ability of financial statements for small businesses. The theoretical part provides clear information about the current obligations and claims made on the content and scope of the financial statements, describes the factors affecting the reporting ability of the statements. The practical part examines the chosen topic on the example of a truly existing company.
