Diplomová práce si klade za cíl prozkoumat spolupráci Norska a Ruska na souostroví Špicberky s daným historickým kontextem vývoje vztahů mezi zeměmi. Díky pravidelnému a úzkému kontaktu se země rozvinuly bilaterální vztahy, které určovaly přátelskou sousedskou politiku na Špicberkách, vedoucí k plodné a aktivní spolupráci i v dobách konfliktů. The thesis aims to explore the collaboration between Norway and Russia on the Svalbard archipelago with the given historical context of the development of the relationship between the countries.
