Possibilities of graduates to participate on labor market in selected region

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na možnosti uplatnění absolventů na trhu práce v regionu Mělnicko. V teoretické části byly charakterizovány pojmy s tématem související. Byl zde popsán trh práce a jeho funkce, vysvětlena funkce nabídky a poptávky po práci. Další kapitola se zabývala nezaměstnaností a jejím měřením. V souladu s tématem práce byla samostatná kapitola zaměřena na absolventy na trhu práce. V praktické části bylo nejprve představeno místo šetření. Hlavní metodou využitou v této části práce bylo dotazování, a to s využitím dotazníkového šetření, kde respondenty byli absolventi momentálně zařazeni v evidenci uchazečů o zaměstnání. Dále byly realizovány individuální rozhovory s pracovníky úřadu práce a zaměstnavateli ve zvoleném regionu. Díky názoru několika skupin respondentů bylo možné porovnat jejich názory s využitím metody komparace. Z výzkumu vyplynulo především to, že největší problém při hledání vhodného zaměstnání u absolventů představuje jejich nedostatečná praxe, nepřiměřené požadavky na platové ohodnocení, nechuť za zaměstnáním dojíždět a mnohdy i špatný výběr vzdělávacího zařízení, oboru vzdělávání a následně i povolání.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the possibilities of graduates' employment in the labour market in the Mělník region. In the theoretical part the concepts related to the topic were characterized. The labour market and its functions were described, the function of labour supply and demand was explained. The next chapter dealt with unemployment and its measurement. In line with the topic of the thesis, a separate chapter focused on graduates in the labour market. In the practical part, the place of investigation was first introduced. The main method used in this part of the thesis was questioning, using a questionnaire survey, where the respondents were graduates currently included in the register of job applicants. Furthermore, individual interviews were carried out with labor office workers and employers in the selected region. Thanks to the opinion of several groups of respondents, it was possible to compare their opinions using the comparative method. The research showed that the biggest problem in finding a suitable job for graduates is their lack of experience, unreasonable salary requirements, reluctance to commute to work and often the wrong choice of educational institution, field of education and, subsequently, profession.
