Nursing patients with infective endocarditis
Abstract:
Ve své práci se zamýšlím nad problematikou vzniku infekční endokarditidy, nad komplikacemi, které může přivodit nemocnému a nad možnostmi jejího předcházení. Z pohledu ošetřovatelské péče se pozastavuji nad důležitostí předcházení a prevence vzniku infekce, nad problematikou dlouhodobé, často celoživotní profylaxe nemocné a důležitostí role edukace při propuštění do domácí péče.
Abstract:
In my thesis, I consider the origin of infective endocarditis, complications patients might encounter and possible precautions. From the perspective of nursing, I analyse the importance of avoiding and preventing infection; long-term (frequently life-long) prophylaxis of patients; and the important role of education when releasing patients into home care.
