Abstract:
MALDI-TOF MS se jeví jako potenciální nástroj pro rychlou a spolehlivou identifikaci bakterií. Vzorek čisté bakteriální kultury se smíchá s matricí a nanese na MALDI destičku. Po zaschnutí se analyzuje. Celková doba procesu od odběru vykultivovaných bakterií až po jejich identifikaci se pohybuje kolem deseti minut, což je hlavní výhodou metody. Abstract:
MALDI-TOF MS seems to be a potential tool for fast and reliable bacteria identification. Bacteria are sampled from colonies on an agar plate, mixed with MALDI matrix, air-dried, and introduced into the mass spectrometer for analysis.
