Language ideologies and their impact on the position of the German language in the Czech Republic. On the motivation for German as a language of instruction and learning at Czech grammar schools.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis analyses the position of German language in the Czech Republic in relation to the impact of language ideologies and the motivation to teach or learn this language. The central aspect of this thesis are the data collected through interviews and questionnaires at 4 Czech grammar schools. The interviews were recorded, transcribed, and encoded to preserve anonymity.

Tato bakalářská práce analyzuje postavení německého jazyka v České republice v souvislosti s působením jazykových ideologií a motivací tento jazyk vyučovat nebo se ho učit. Stěžejním aspektem této práce jsou data, která byla sesbírána na 4 gymnáziích v České republice prostřednictvím rozhovorů a dotazníků.
