Jayzk muzu a zen se do jiste miry lisi. Tato prace se zabyva rozdilem v pouzivani ctyr anglickych modalnich sloves ve spojeni se zajmeny ja a ty v pozici podmetu. Prace je analyzou mluveneho anglickeho jazyka. Material pouzity k praci je zalozen na Britsken narodnim korpusu. Zeny a muzi jsou rozdeleni do dvou vekovych kategorii, 25-34 a 35-44 let. The language of women and men differ to a certain extant. It is important to note that the language is rather gender preferential than gender exclusive. The difference is studied on the four modal words (must, should, may and might). The modals are used in connection with the pronoun subjects I and you.
