Anotácia:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou vzniku, funkce a organizační struktury této instituce. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V části teoretické jsou objasněny základní pojmy, se kterými je v práci operováno, dále je zde prezentována historie Europolu, jeho cíle, funkce, organizační struktura a systém ochrany dat. Praktická část práce má za cíl analyzovat hlavní agendy, kterými se Evropský policejní úřad zabývá. Jako je například sexuální vykořisťování, drogy, terorismus, obchodování s lidmi. Byl zvolen kvantitativní výzkum ve formě dotazníkového šetření. Získané údaje byly analyzovány, na základě této analýzy byly zodpovězeny předem stanovené výzkumné otázky a hypotézy. Zjištěné výsledky poukázaly na poměrně dobrou informovanost ohledně činnosti Europolu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the establishment, function and organizational structure of this institution. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts used in the work, the history of Europol, its objectives, functions, organizational structure and data protection system. The practical part of the thesis aims to analyze the main agendas dealt with by the European Police Office. Such as sexual exploitation, drugs, terrorism, human trafficking. Quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire survey was chosen. The obtained data were analyzed and predetermined research questions and hypotheses were answered based on this analysis. The results showed a relatively good awareness of Europol's activities.
