Analysis of managerial skills within selected company

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pomocí dotazníkového šetření a pomocí statistické metody Chí-kvadrát hledá odpovědi na stanovené výzkumné otázky a hypotézy, které se týkají manažerských dovedností v podniku. Po vyhodnocení výsledků bylo zjištěno, že největší význam je přisuzován komunikaci. Za pomoci komparace názorů mezi manažery a zaměstnanci dochází ke zjištění, že nejvyužívanějším stylem řízení je styl demokratický. Celková spokojenost s komunikací je na vysoké úrovni z pohledu obou skupin. Dále dochází k potvrzení, že podnik nabízí svým manažerů školení měkkých dovedností, ale i přesto manažeři cítí potřebu zlepšení zejména komunikace. V závěru je prokázáno, že mezi spokojeností zaměstnanců a délkou zaměstnání není v podniku závislost a současně, že mezi využívaným stylem řízení a spokojeností je středně velká závislost.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis, using a questionnaire survey and the statistical method Chi-square, seeks answers to established research questions and hypotheses that relate to managerial skills in the company. After evaluating the results, it was found that the greatest importance is attached to communication. With the help of a comparison of opinions between managers and employees, it is found that the most used management style is democratic. Overall satisfaction with communication is at a high level from the perspective of both groups. It also confirms that the company offers its managers training in soft skills, but even so, managers feel the need to improve communication in particular. In conclusion, it is proved that there is no dependence in the company between employee satisfaction and length of employment, and at the same time that there is a medium dependence between the management style used and satisfaction.
