Regional Political Parties in Central and Eastern Europe - Comparison

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je komparace regionálních politických stran ve středovýchodní Evropě. Bakalářská práce se zabývá regionálními politickými stranami na Slovensku, v Srbsku a Rumunsku. První část práce je částí teoretickou. V teoretické části práce jsou definovány hlavní pojmy - politická strana, regionální a etnická politická strana, konfliktní linie, Trianonská smlouva a další. Ve druhé části práce analyzuji jednotlivé významné a relevantní politické strany. Zaměřuji se na jejich vznik a vývoj, volební program, volební výsledky, na volební systém daných zemí a podobně. Třetí část práce je částí komparativní. Analyzované politické strany aktivně participují na politické scéně a obsazují mandáty v parlamentech daných zemí. Společným znakem všech těchto stran je, že jsou proevropské a demokratické.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor thesis is a Comparison of regional political parties in Central and Eastern Europe. The bachelor thesis deals with regional political parties in Slovakia, Serbia and Romania. The first part of the thesis is theoretical. The theoretical part defines main terms such as a political party, regional and ethnic political party, cleavages, Treaty of Trianon and others. I analyse single significant and relevant political parties in the second part of the thesis. I focus on the origin and development of political parties and their electoral program, election results, voting system and others. The third part is comparative. These political parties activaly participate in the political scene of the countries and often occupy seats in parliaments of the countries. Common character of all hungarian political parties is pro-european and democratic orientation.
