Palmitooleic acid and its significance for prevention of diabetes type 2
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá účinky palmitooleátu na metabolismus sacharidů a lipidů. S tím souvisí aktivita stearoyl-CoA desaturasy, enzymu katalyzujícího syntézu mononenasycených mastných kyselin z nasycených mastných kyselin. Zkoumá roli palmitooleátu v patogenezi diabetu mellitu typu 2. Stručně shrnuje etiologii diabetu a komplikace, které se v souvislosti s onemocněním mohou vyskytnout.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with effects of palmitooleic acid. Palmitooleic acid affects metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids. Stearoyl-CoA desaturase catalyzes the synthesis of monounsaturated fatty acids from saturated fatty acids. Examine the association between plasma palmitooleic acid and diabetes mellitus type 2. It summarizes etiology and complications of diabetes mellitus type 2.
