Nakládání s pevným komunálním odpadem v zemích Visegrádské skupiny

Abstract:

Cílem práce je přehled a srovnání přístupu k hospodaření s komunálním odpadem v zemích Visegrádské skupiny (V4). Výzkum je založen na komplexním hodnocení na základě stanovených kritérií, včetně zkoumání procesů nakládání s odpady, identifikace klíčových organizací a strategických dokumentů a také posouzení cílů a ukazatelů pro monitorování. Výsledky práce nejen poukazují na hlavní problematické otázky v oblasti odpadového hospodářství ve zkoumaných zemích, které by mohly způsobit nedosažení cílů stanovených Evropskou unií, ale také poukazují na možná řešení a iniciativy, které by mohly situaci výrazně zlepšit. Tato práce přispívá k pochopení postupů nakládání s komunálním odpadem v zemích Visegrádské skupiny a nabízí poznatky pro tvůrce legislativy a organizace, které jsou odpovědné za nakládání s odpady, při hledání udržitelných řešení v oblasti nakládání s odpady. Zjištění mohou sloužit jako podklad pro vyvinutí účinnějších a adaptabilnějších strategií pro nakládání s odpady v regionu V4.

Abstract:

The thesis is aimed at reviewing and comparing approaches to municipal solid waste management (MSWM) in the Visegrad Group countries (V4). The research employs a multifaceted evaluation based on specified criteria, including an examination of waste management processes, identification of key organizations and strategic documents, and considering of goals and indicators for monitoring. The results of the thesis not only shed light on the main problematic issues in the field of waste management in the countries under study, which could lead to failure to achieve the goals set by the European Union, but also show possible solutions and initiatives that could significantly improve the situation. This research contributes to the understanding of MSWM practices in the V4, offering insights for policymakers and organizations that are responsible for waste management in the pursuit of sustainable waste management solutions. The findings can serve as a basis for developing more effective and adaptable waste management strategies in the V4 region.
