Zaměstnávání cizinců je regulováno zejména zákonem o zaměstnanosti. Cizinec potřebuje ke svému zaměstnání v České republice povolení, o které si musí zažádat. Udělení tohoto povolení je možné ve zvláštním – výjimečném – režimu pro cizince vyslané k výkonu práce, sezonní zaměstnání, povolení bez ohledu na trh práce a zaměstnávání bez povolení. Employment of foreigners is regulated mainly by the Employment Act. A foreigner who wants to work in the Czech Republic, needs the authorization for which he must apply. The granting of this license is possible in the special - exceptional - a regime for foreigners sent to work, seasonal employment, permit regardless of the labor market and employment without a permit.
