Persons with severe physical disability and their personal and professional use on the labor market in Prague

Abstract:

The diploma thesis has as its central theme the employment of individuals with physical disabilities. In the introduction of the theoretical part of the diploma thesis are described basic information on the topic, ie defining the concept of physical handicap, identity and social pedagogy in relation to auxiliary professions and employment of people with physical disabilities. Further, the thesis deals with the position of people with disabilities in the labor market, strategic planning in the field of employment of OZP and active employment policy instruments. The empirical part consists of formulation of the research problem, definition of research questions and determination of the research objectives, the choice and characterization of the research sample. Subsequently, a research method of quantitative and qualitative data collection is used. With the help of research tools, the research is carried out among selected handicapped people in wheelchairs center in Prague. It is further elaborated with the President of the National Council for Disabled People. The data obtained are categorized and subsequently evaluated. The main findings of the research and recommendations for practice are formulated.
