The role and function of the periodical Lidové noviny in enlightenment and education of readers in 1894-1934

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématikou historie moravského periodika Lidové noviny, které z podnětu JUDr. Adolfa Stránského vznikly sloučením brněnského periodika Moravské noviny a olomouckého listu Pozor. Záměrem práce je přiblížit historii tohoto známého periodika až do období konce komunistického režimu v Československu. Představeny jsou také osobnosti, které přispěly k výjimečnosti novin. Metodou obsahové analýzy jsou zkoumány ročníky s desetiletým odstupem, které popisují milníky naší historie. V roce 1894 probíhal proces s Omladinou. Pro ročník 1904 bylo hlavním milníkem vypuknutí rusko-japonské války. Další sonda je z ročníku 1914, kdy proběhl atentát na následníka rakouského trůnu. Sonda zvolená z roku 1924 zaštiťuje meziválečné období a rok 1934 poskytuje informace o vlivu ekonomické a hospodářské krize. Analýza sond ukázala rozdíly a odlišnosti obsahu periodika a vydávaných příloh v jednotlivých ročnících.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the history of Lidove noviny, which, at the initiative of JUDr. Adolf Stránsky, was created by the merger of The Moravske noviny in Brno and Pozor in Olomouc. The aim of the work is to bring forward the history of this well-known periodical until the end of the communist regime in Czechoslovakia. Also featured are the personalities who contributed to the newspaper's exceptionalism. The method of content analysis is studied by yearlings 10 years apart, which describe the milestones of our history. In 1894, the trial of Omladina took place. For the 1904 edition, the main milestone was the outbreak of the Russo-Japanese War. The next probe is from 1914, when the heir to the Austrian throne was assassinated. The probe, chosen in 1924, snubs the interwar period, and 1934 provides information on the effects of the economic and economic crisis. The analysis of the probes showed differences and differences in the content of the periodical and the published annexes by year.
