Individual determinants of direct interaction between teacher and student in education at the University

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá individuálními determinanty studentů, které ovlivňují jejich přímou interakci s učiteli ve výuce na vysoké škole. V teoretické části seznamuje čtenáře s interakcí a její strukturou IRF (iniciace, replika, feedback), která je v práci použita k popisu pedagogické komunikace. Je zde uveden výčet individuálních charakteristik studentů, které mohou mít vliv na interakci ve výuce. Tyto determinanty jsou osobnostní, postojové, motivační, sociální a zahrnují taktéž zkušenosti ze studia na předchozích školách. Data získaná dotazníkovým šetřením byla podrobena kvantitativní statistické analýze. Výsledky seznamují s deskripcí jednotlivých individuálních charakteristik u respondentů a s jejich vnímáním pedagogické interakce na základní, střední a vysoké škole. Jsou zde uvedeny hlavní individuální determinanty interakce na vysoké škole a jejich vzájemná vazba. Z interpretace výsledků vyplývá, že k hlavním determinantům v interakci ve výuce patří introverze a extroverze, jistou roli zde hraje i sebevědomí. Průkazný vliv na interakci ve výuce na vysoké škole nemá úzkostnost a učební styl, důležité jsou ale zkušenosti ze základní a střední školy.

Abstract:

The present thesis deals with individual students determinants that affect their direct interaction with teachers in teaching at the college. The theoretical part introduces the interaction and its structure IRF (initiation, replica, feedback), which is used to describe the work of educational communication. There is a listing of the individual characteristics of students that may affect the interaction in the classroom. These determinants are personal, attitudinal, motivational, social, and include experience in preceding studies at schools. Data obtained from questionnaires were subjected to quantitative statistical analysis. Results describes the individual familiar with the individual characteristics of the respondents as their perception of pedagogical interactions on elementary, middle and high school. Here are the main determinants of individual interactions in college and their relationships. The interpretation of the results shows that the main determinants of the interaction in the classroom is one of introversion and extroversion, a role is played by the self-confidence. Significant effect of the interaction in teaching at the college have anxiety and learning style are important but the experience of primary and high schools.
