Memorable mountain Radhošť: Its history, symbolism and reflection in folk culture
Abstract:
Tato magisterská diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku historického vývoje hory Radhošť, její symboliky a významů, kterých v posledních třech stoletích nabývala. Mimo tuto historickou sondu také analyzuje současné vnímání Radhoště a hledá odraz tohoto vrcholu a symbolů, které jsou s ním spojeny, v lidové kultuře, umělecké činnosti či marketingu.
Abstract:
This master’s thesis focuses on the issue of historical development of Radhošť mountain, its symbolism and meanings it acquired during last three centuries. Besides this historical probe it also analyzes the current perception of Radhošť and studies its symbols reflections in folk culture, artistic activities or marketing.
