Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je zpracování témat volného součinu grup, volného součinu grup s amalgamovanou podgrupou a HNN rozšíření do studijního materiálu pro čtenáře, kteří mají základní vědomosti o grupách. Podobně jako je tomu například u přímého a polopřímého součinu se jedná o konstrukce nových větších grup z menších. Práce zavádí pojmy alternujícího slova, redukovaného alternujícího slova a normální formy, které popisují prvky všech tří konstrukcí kombinatoricky. Dále jsou v práci popsány vztahy mezi jednotlivými konstrukcemi a jsou uvedeny příklady jejich využití v teorii grup.

Abstract:

The aim of my thesis is to form the free product of groups, free product of groups with an amalgamated subgroup and HNN extension into the study material for readers who have basic knowledge about group theory. As well as for example the direct and semidirect product of groups these constructions create new larger groups from smaller ones. The work introduces the terms of alternating word, reduced alternating word and normal form that are combinatorial description of the elements of all three structures. Furthermore, the work described relations between these structures and there are given examples of their use in the group theory.
