Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Profesní etika účetních a auditorů“ se zabývá etikou jako disciplínou praktické filozofie a jejím využitím v každodenní praxi účetních a auditorů skrze staletí, ale hlavně v současné době. Cílem této práce je seznámit čtenáře se specifiky profesí účetního a auditora, se zvláštním důrazem na dodržování etických zásad při jejich činnosti. Nemalá pozornost je též věnována rozboru příčin, hrozeb a důsledků podvodného jednání v účetnictví a auditingu. Práce také poukazuje na příčiny a důsledky konfliktů z etických důvodů v mezinárodní praxi a nástroje jejich prevence. Na základě těchto teoretických východisek práce navrhuje učební kurz profesní etiky účetních a auditorů. Tato diplomová práce si nečiní nárok na poskytnutí jediného správného postupu ve vzdělávání účetních a auditorů, avšak umožňuje čtenáři uvědomit si a zamyslet se nad nejdůležitějšími problémy účetní kultury, jako jsou etické a psychologické aspekty profesionální činnosti budoucích účetních i auditorů.

Abstract:

The thesis "Professional Ethics of Accountants and Auditors" focuses on ethics as a discipline of practical philosophy and its use in the daily practice of accountants and auditors for centuries, but mostly today. The purpose of this paper is to introduce the reader to the specifics of the professions of accountant and auditor, with a special emphasis on the observance of ethical principles in their activities. Considerable attention is also paid to the analysis of the causes, threats and consequences of fraud in accounting and audit. The thesis also points out the causes and consequences of conflicts for ethical reasons in international practice and the tools for their prevention. Based on this theoretical knowledge, the paper offers a course in professional ethics of accountants and auditors. This thesis does not claim to provide the only correct training procedure for accountants and auditors but allows the reader to understand and reflect on the most important issues of accounting culture, such as the ethical and psychological aspects of the professional activities of future accountants and auditors.
