Career sites as an employee recruiment tool

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce, s názvem "Kariérní stránky jako nástroj získávání pracovníků" se zabývá testováním a hodnocením kariérních stránek vybraných společností, analyzují se jejich obsahové i technické parametry. Cílem této práce je otestovat a následně hodnotit kariérní stránky a následně navrhnout doporučení. Struktura práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí, a to teoretické a empirické. Teoretická část je založena na odborné literatuře a pojednává o procesu náboru zaměstnanců s důrazem na externí zdroje, definuje pojmy jako značka zaměstnavatele, uchazeči a cílová skupina. Závěrečná část teoretické sekce se pak věnuje kariérním stránkám a jejich významu, přínosu a obsahu. Empirická část detailně popisuje a analyzuje kariérní stránky zkoumaných společností. Na základě získaných poznatků a výsledků analýzy jsou v závěrečné empirické části formulována doporučení, která mají firmám poskytnout užitečné rady a směrnice pro optimalizaci svých kariérních stránek, ať už již existujících nebo nově vytvářených.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis, entitled "Career websites as a tool for recruiting employees", deals with the testing and evaluation of career websites of selected companies, analyzing their content and technical parameters. The aim of this thesis is to test and to evaluate the career sites and then propose recommendations. The structure of the thesis is divided into two main parts, namely theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part is based on the literature and discusses the recruitment process with emphasis on external sources, defining concepts such as employer brand, candidates and target group. The final part of the theoretical section focuses on career sites and their importance, benefits and content. The empirical section describes and analyses the career sites of the companies studied in detail. Based on the findings and the results of the analysis, the final empirical section formulates recommendations to provide useful advice and guidelines for companies to optimise their career sites, whether existing or newly createdvytvářených.
