Coating of tools and their effect on the amount of cutting force during CNC milling of MDF

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na měření řezných sil při frézování MDF desky na CNC obráběcím stroji SCM Morbidelli m100. Pro měření sil a analýzu dat byl využit dynamometr Kistler 9257 B se softwarem DynoWare. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na metody povlakování nástrojů, popis CNC stroje, druhy frézování a kinematiku frézování. V praktické části je popsán samotný experiment, měnicí se řezné podmínky, použité nástroje s druhy povlaků a popis zpracovaných dat. V závěru práce jsou vyhodnocená data naměřených řezných sil pro jednotlivé druhy povlaků a jejich porovnání.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis is focused on the measurement of cutting forces during milling of an MDF board on a CNC machine tool SCM Morbidelli m100. A Kistler 9257 B dynamometer with DynoWare software was used for force measurement and data analysis. The theoretical part of the work focuses on tool coating methods, description of the CNC machine, types of milling and milling kinematics. The practical part describes the experiment itself, the changing cutting conditions, the tools used with the types of coatings and a description of the processed data. At the end of the work, the data of measured cutting forces for individual types of coatings and their comparison are evaluated.
