The capacity of maritime oil transport and its impact on fluency of oil supply

Abstract:

Anotace: Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl zjistit, jaký vliv má kapacita námořní přepravy ropy na plynulost zásobování touto strategickou surovinou. Analyzuje v současné době existující i budoucí kapacitu námořní přepravy v podobě tankerové flotily, respektive její produkce a zjišťuje, které její charakteristiky a do jaké míry ovlivňují dodávky ropy. Na konkrétním příkladu tří regionů – USA, EU a Číny ukazuje, jak může stav současné i budoucí přepravy ohrozit dodávky ropy do těchto oblastí. Současně porovnává tyto regiony ve smyslu námořní dopravy ropy.

Abstract:

Abstract: Bachelor thesis aims to determine to what extent capacity of maritime transport of Oil can influence suupplies of this strategic raw material. Thesis analyses both current and future capacity of maritime transport, existing in tanker fleet and its production and discovers how and to what extent characteristic features inflence Oil supplies. It shows in the example of specific regions –USA, EU and China, how can conditions of current and future capacity threaten Oil supplies to these regions. Thesis simultaneuosly compares these regions in intents of maritime oil transport.
