Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje komparaci systémů financování zdravotnictví v České republice a Nizozemí k roku 2021. Hlavním cílem této práce je komparace obou systémů. V rámci možností je usilováno o vytvoření doporučení na zlepšení systému financování zdravotnictví v České republice vycházející z této komparace. Teoretická část představuje nezbytné teoretické základy pro praktickou část. Nejdůležitější je kapitola věnovaná specifikům zdravotního trhu a problémům s financováním zdravotní péče. V praktické části jsou nejprve představeny oba zdravotní systémy. Stěžejní je poté komparace obou zemí na základě konkrétních zdravotnických ukazatelů. Tyto ukazatele jsou zpracovány podle dat z OECD, Světové banky, Českého statistického úřadu, nebo Eurostatu. Z komparace vyplývá, že největším problémem Českého zdravotnictví jsou velmi nízké platy sester. Česká republika také zaostává za Nizozemím v oblasti efektivnosti zdravotnictví a má nízké výdaje na zdravotnictví v poměru k HDP. Zdravotní stav obyvatel České republiky je horší než zdravotní stav obyvatel v Nizozemí, to ale nemusí být pouze odrazem kvality zdravotnictví, jelikož zdraví ovlivňuje mnoho aspektů. Lepších výsledků než Nizozemí naopak Česká republika dosáhla v oblasti vybavenosti nemocnic a také má nižší dětskou úmrtnost. Oba státy budou do budoucna čelit problému stárnutí populace a zvyšujícím se nákladům na zdravotní péči.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on comparison of health care financing in Czech Republic and Netherlands to 2021. The aim of this thesis is to compare both systems. The effort is made to give recommendations to the current health care system in the Czech Republic based on this comparison. The theoretical part provides fundamental background for the practical part. The most important chapter is focused on health care market specifications and problems with financing health care. In the practical part both health care systems are introduced. The mainstay of the thesis is the comparison based on health care indicators. Data for this part have been taken from OECD, Word bank, Eurostat, or Czech Statistical Office. The comparison emerges that the biggest issue in the Czech Republic health care system are low wages for nurses. Czech Republic health care system is also not as effective as the Netherlands and the expenditures compared to GDP are low. The health of the Czech Republic citizens is worse than in the Netherlands, however that is not a direct reflection on health care system itself, as health is influenced by number of other unrelated aspects. Czech Republic, on the other hand, has lower infant mortality and the hospitals are better equipped. Both countries will be challenged with negative trend in population growth and the increasing cost of health care.
