Teachers' opinions on school physical activity of pupils at primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o klíčových aspektech působení učitele na pohybovou aktivnost žáků ve školním prostředí. Teoretická část shrnuje poznatky o učiteli, jakožto nejvýznamnějším činiteli ve školní výchově dětí a popisuje specifika primárního školství. Dále se zabývá problematikou školní pohybové aktivity z pohledu učitele a popisuje možnosti jejího uplatnění ve výuce i mimo ni. Zkoumá vliv pohybu na zdraví dětí mladšího školního věku s důrazem na zdravotně orientované pojetí tělesné výchovy. Závěrem shrnuje výzkumy provedené mezi učiteli vztahující se k problematice školní pohybové aktivity. Výzkumná část je zaměřena na názory a postoje učitelů prvního stupně základních škol k realizaci školní tělesné výchovy ve všech dostupných formách. Popisuje data sesbíraná metodu dotazníkového šetření a zkoumá případné souvislosti mezi nimi. Závěr výzkumné části předkládá zobecňující tendence v přístupech učitelů k dané problematice. Přináší doporučení plynoucí pro teorii i pro praxi a nabízí možnosti dalšího výzkumného postupu.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis deals with the key aspects of teacher affecting the physical activity of pupils in the school environment. The theoretical part summarizes the findings of teachers as the most significant actors in school education of children and describes the specifics of primary education. It also deals with the issue of school physical activity from the perspective of teachers and describes the possibilities of its use in the classroom and beyond. Examines the impact of movement on the health of school age children with emphasis on health-oriented approach to physical education. In conclusion summarizes the research carried out among teachers relating to the issue of school physical activity. Research is focused on the opinions and attitudes of teachers at primary schools to implement school physical education in all available forms. Describes the data collected by survey method and examining the possible connection between them. The conclusion of research by generalizing tendency in approaches to the issue of teachers. Finally it brings recommendations for theory and for practice and offers opportunities for further research process.
