Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá použitím elektronických učebnic v hodinách anglického jazyka na druhém stupni základních škol. Teoretická část se zabývá rolí a funkcí učebnice a je zaměřena na rozdílné styly užívání učebnic. Elektronické učebnice, jejich vlastnosti a související pojmy jako jsou multimédia, e-learning a informační technologie jsou také uvedeny v teoretické části. Praktická část má za cíl zjistit jak a proč učitelé anglického jazyka používají elektronickou učebnici v porovnání s tištěnou učebnicí. Jako první je představena vybraná učebnice anglického jazyka a její elektronická verze. Na závěr jsou prezentovány výsledky kvalitativního výzkumu, který byl realizován formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a pozorováním.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with teachers' use of English electronic textbooks at lower secondary schools. The theoretical part aims to describe the role and function of textbooks and is also focused on the style of using textbooks. Electronic textbooks, their features, and related concepts like multimedia, e-learning, and information technologies are also presented in the theoretical part. The empirical part aims to determine how and why English teachers use electronic textbooks compared to printed textbooks and what factors influence their style. Firstly, the selected English textbook and its electronic version are analysed. Finally, the empirical part provides the results of the qualitative research, which was made by the method of semi structured interviews and observations.
