Tuition from the perspective of students

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá problematikou zavedení školného na vysokých školách v ČR. Je dělena do rešerše, která je následně dělena do dvou hlavních částí a praktické části. První část rešerše obsahuje informace týkající se vysokoškolského vzdělání a jeho přínosů, a to jak pro širokou veřejnost v rámci pozitivních externalit, tak i soukromou osobu. Druhá část rešerše řeší aktuální systém rozdělování veřejných financí, následně problematiku školného a končí politickými body týkající se financování vysokých škol. V praktické části se práce zabývá výsledky dotazníkového šetření mezi studenty Fakulty managementu s cílem zjistit míru souhlasu se zavedením školného.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the introduction of tuition fees at universities in the Czech Republic. It is divided into search, which is subsequently divided into two main parts and practical part. The first part of the research contains information concerning higher education and its benefits, both for the general public in terms of positive externalities and for private individuals. The second part of the research deals with the current system of distribution of public finances, then the issue of tuition fees and ends with political points concerning the financing of higher education institutions. The practical part deals with the results of a questionnaire survey among students of the Faculty of Management in order to find out the degree of agreement / disagreement with the introduction of tuition fees.
