Management of assets and liabilities of selected banks

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem struktury aktiv a pasiv vybraných bank v letech 2008 – 2018. Cílem bylo vyhodnocení a porovnání vývoje struktury aktiv a pasiv jednotlivých bank ve sledovaném období. V práci je vycházeno převážně z výročních zpráv jednotlivých bank, knižní literatury, a webových stránek České národní banky. V práci je řešena otázka struktury aktiv a pasiv vybraných bank, jejich vývoj a příčiny tohoto vývoje. Výsledky práce ukazují, že vybrané banky mají velmi podobnou strukturu aktiv a pasiv s několika odlišnostmi. V závěru práce jsou uvedeny poznatky vyplývající z porovnání struktur aktiv a pasiv vybraných bank.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the development of the structure of assets and liabilities of selected banks in the years 2008 - 2018. The aim was to evaluate and compare the development of the structure of assets and liabilities of individual banks in the period under review. The work is based mainly on the annual reports of individual banks, book literature, and websites of the Czech National Bank. The thesis addresses the issue of the structure of assets and liabilities of selected banks, their development and the causes of this development. The results show that the selected banks have a very similar structure of assets and liabilities with several differences. At the end of the thesis, the findings resulting from the comparison of the structures of assets and liabilities of selected banks are presented.
