Legal regulation of the package tour in practice

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá právní úpravou zájezdu v České republice. První část této bakalářské práce se zaměřuje na problematiku novely občanského zákoníku č. 111/2018 Sb., která mění zákon č. 159/1999 Sb. Jsou zde vysvětleny základní pojmy, které jsou s tímto odvětvím dlouhodobě spjaty, ale také nově zavedené termíny jako jsou spojené cestovní služby a garanční fond. Praktická část, na základě rozhovorů s jednotlivými cestovními kancelářemi a dotazníkové šetření, hodnotí změny, které s sebou novela zákona o cestovním ruchu přinesla v praxi. Dílčí otázkou je, zda se cestovním kancelářím navýšily náklady, které musí vynaložit na běžný provoz firmy. Zahraniční cestovní kanceláře pak z vlastních zkušeností navrhují případné změny k efektivnějšímu řízení firmy.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the legal regulation of package tour in the Czech Republic. The first part of this bachelor thesis focused on the issue of the amendment to the Civil Code No. 111/2018 Coll., Which amends Act No. 159/1999 Coll. It explains the basic terms that have been associated with this industry for a long time, but also the newly introduces terms such as package travel and the guarantee fund. The practical part, is based on interviews with individual travel agencies and survey, evaluates the changes that the amendment to the Tourism Act brought with it in practice. The partial question is whether travel agencies have been increased the costs they have to expend on the common operation of the business. From their own experience, foreign travel agencies propose possible changes for more efficient management of the company.
