Tato diplomová práce se zabývá uměleckým překladem divadelní hry a jejím rozborem. Překládaným textem je hra Levaja gruď Afrodity, jejíž autorem je Jurij Poljakov. V teoretické části se věnujeme teorii uměleckého překladu a překladu divadelních her. V praktické části se zabýváme autorem, jeho další tvorbou, dále si představíme danou hru a styl autora. The present diploma theses deals with the artistic translation of a play and its analysis. Transalated play is Levaya grud Afrodity and the author is Yuriy Polyakov. The theoretical part describes the theory of artistic translation and the translation of dramatic text.
