Anotácia:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje především na ratingové agentury a jejich vztah a roli v regulatorních opatřeních v různých zemích. První kapitola vymezuje samotný pojem ratingu, a to konkrétně popisuje druhy ratingu, proces tvorby, použití a suverénní rating. Pak druhá kapitola se bude zabývat analýzou tří největších ratingových agentur, jejich metodologií a oblastmi působení v reakci na jejich všestrannou kritiku. Taktéž se tam budeme zaobírat vyskytujícími se problémy, které by měly být prostudovány a brány v potaz pro efektivnější působení ratingových agentur v budoucnu. V nakonec v závěrečné kapitole uvedeme řadu oblastí, ve kterých je rating používán pro regulatorní účely, mimo jiné budou zmíněny základní principy fungování ratingových agentur a na závěr představím souhrnné myšlenky o možnostech řešení nejvýznamnějších problémů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses primarily on credit rating agencies and their relation and role in regulatory measures in different countries. The first chapter defines the concept of a credit rating, and specifically describes the types of rating, the process of their creation and use, and sovereign rating. Then the second chapter will deal with the analysis of the three largest credit rating agencies, their methodologies and areas of action in response to their all-round criticism. Also, there will be mentioned occurring problems that should be studied and taken into account for the effective operation of credit rating agencies in the future. In the end, in the final chapter you will find a number of areas in which the rating is used for regulatory purposes, and among other things, will be discussed the basic principles of credit rating agencies. And finally I will introduce comprehensive ideas on how to resolve most of occurring problems.
