Abstract:

ROUBÍČKOVÁ, Natálie. Sólo turismus jako specifická forma cestovního ruchu. [Bakalářská práce.] University College Prague – Vysoká škola mezinárodních vztahů a Vysoká škola hotelová a ekonomická. Praha: 2024. 45 s. Bakalářská práce zkoumá sólo turismus jako specifickou formu cestovního ruchu, která zažívá v posledních letech rostoucí popularitu. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na vysvětlení základních pojmů spojených s touto problematikou a podrobněji popisuje nabídku sólo turismu, zahrnující statistická data o vhodných a populárních destinacích, ubytovacích službách, typech sólo cest a bezpečnosti na cestách. Výzkum poptávky je zaměřen na statistická data a faktory ovlivňující zájem o (sólo) cestování. Analytická část využívá dotazníkového šetření jako hlavní metodu výzkumu, následovanou analýzou a komparací získaných dat. Cílem práce je identifikovat motivaci a bariéry pro sólo cestovatele a potenciální cestovatele, analyzovat výsledky dotazníkového šetření a navrhnout opatření k zvýšení zájmu o sólo turismus. Na základě analýzy dat bylo navrženo řešení ve formě vývoje cestovatelské platformy dostupné jako webová stránka a mobilní aplikace, která by zlepšila zážitek z cestování a podpořila poptávku po sólo turismu. Z analýzy konkurence vyplývá potenciál této platformy i na zahraničních trzích.

The bachelor thesis examines solo tourism as a specific form of tourism that has experienced growing popularity in recent years. The theoretical part focuses on the explanation of the basic concepts related to this issue and describes in more detail the offer of solo tourism, including statistical data on safe and popular destinations, accommodation services, types of solo travel and travel safety. Demand research focuses on statistical data and factors influencing interest in (solo) travel. The analytical part uses a questionnaire survey as the main research method, followed by analysis and comparison of the collected data. The aim of the paper is to identify motivations and barriers for solo travellers and potential travellers, analyse the results of the questionnaire survey and propose measures to increase interest in solo tourism. Based on the data analysis, a solution was proposed in the form of developing a travel platform available as a website and a mobile application to enhance the travel experience and boost the demand for solo tourism. Competitive analysis shows the potential of this platform also in foreign markets.
