Inventory of traders with cloth from Prague, a contribution to the knowledge of bourgeois society in Early Modern Times
Abstract:
Cílem práce je analyzovat dochované inventáře pozůstalostí pražských obchodníků s plátnem. Pozornost bude zaměřena na rodinné vztahy jednotlivých osob, majetkové poměry, a především obchodní aktivity. Práce bude konfrontována s dosavadní literaturou o plátenictví a obchodu v raném novověku, popř. se situací v jiných městech.
Abstract:
The primary goal of this work is to analyse remaining estete inventories after Prague´s merchants with canvas. Attention will be focuse on family relationships of individuals, property relations, and especially budinnes activities. The work will be confrontet with the existing literature on linen and trade in the early modern period, or with the situation in other cities.
