This work is about the history of the German theatre in Goethe-Street in Pilsen. It explores the reasons and circumstances of the origins. It also deals with the relationship between the Czech and German populations in the 19th century. Abstract:
Práce pojednává o historii Německého divadla v Goethově ulici v Plzni. Zkoumá příčiny a okolnosti jeho vzniku. Současně se zabývá i vztahem mezi českým a německým obyvatelstvem v 19. století. Dále se věnuje výstavbě Německého divadla, jeho úspěchem a později i krachem. V práci můžeme nalézt i informace o Německém domě a Německém divadelním spolku, který obě budovy vlastnil.
