Nadměrný hluk má výrazný negativní dopad na lidské zdraví. Zahraniční studie, např. Tyrväinen (1997), Baranzini a Ramirez (2005) nebo Andersson a kol. (2009), potvrdily, že hluk má také negativní vliv na cenu nemovitostí. Excessive noise has a significant negative effect on a person’s health. Research studies, e.g. Tyrväinen (1997), Baranzini & Ramirez (2005) or Andersson et al.
